Bailey, you can't save face so I'll go this route. The reason I embarrassed you and not on purpose is because I like Calzaghe myself. Maybe some of the other guys don't like 40cal, but I do.

You asked two questions, and I answered both, and then you asked a third one. You went too far lol. I LIKE JOE CALZAGHE. You're speaking to a guy who can be objective. You and Foxy can't be objective which is why posters tore you guys a new ahole. You can't dis Jones's through his comps wins over their top comp. You can't question Toneys close decisions that have been in the books for over how many years??? Tiberi, mccallum and Johnson even if you say they won didn't dominate Toney. Those fights were either or. The Tiberi fight shouldn't even be mentioned because if you guys saw the fight Toney was dehydrated. And Boxingrec? Wtf are you even using it for? Lol.

I was around and saw everything. Everything!

I saw when Cal was first being hyped on a Tyson undercard, and if I'm not mistaken, he had a hurt hand that night and didn't show us what he would eventually show us. I still said then that this kid has talent.

Just stop. Your Joe Calzaghe crusade is washed up. He's done well for himself. The reality is that he fought a washed up Jones p. He beat Hop albeit was put down and rocked a few times...and many didn't think that he beat Hop. He got the win and he's beaten everyone that he has faced. I had Hop Cal a draw.

The only time that I rooted against Cal was against Roy. I knew Roy was done and wanted to see if the old man still had something in the tank. Cal let him know that he didn't. I loved watching him fight. Beating Sheika and Mitchell and Veit and Woodhall and Eubank who was done also. Joe did what he had to do. Beating Kessler might be his best win. Roy is greater than cal because he beat better comp period. Joe is still great and a hof fighter. Cal's resume lacks big wins compared to Roy's, but it doesn't lack big wins. Catch my drift?

    bailey,

Regarding your question regarding Toney still being undefeated, I'm not sure. Because many people thought that he'd lost to Tiberi. James has admitted that himself, although I think it was years later.

    But it's an interesting question.

It has similarities with Eubank and Collins. I know that you really value those wins for Collins. But Eubank was lucky not to have dropped decisions to Schommer, Benn and Close. He's even admitted that in his opinion he lost the Benn and Schommer fights. So let's say he'd already lost to one or more of those guys. Would you then have rated Collins's wins as high?

:good. All Tiberi had to do was land clean on Toney and he couldn't which is why he didn't win or come close in my book. Watch the fight. I rooted for Tiberi. I was a Nunn fan. I never liked Toney, but I grew to respect him.

Please dont try and answer a question with a question and just answer what was put to you with regards to Toneys decisions leading to the Jones fight. I will give you another chance

Yes I did. i answered all of your questions. Please go back and check. I recall with that one I said something like I cant answer for others and what they choose to do, but could understand why someone wouldnt ditch a world title that earns them better money to fight ??? at a different weight, which may not lead to anything for what would likely be less money without a title.

Your question was asking me to answer for others which I am not sure anyone can do, but my question was direct to what you think would have been, so please stop ducking
Now instead of ducking please answer, because at this time you are showing that you are too weak to answer

The evidence I've referred to, was a different topic on a different thread.

Your question has now been answered.
