    because floyd used his height.....

"I don't really think that height plays a key for him. I think with me it plays a key because I use a little bit of everything. I use my reach, I use my height, I use my movement; I use different techniques, whereas he's not as versatile as Floyd Mayweather." (Source: F*ghthype)

this is gonna be another exhibition....

my favourite type of floyd.... like against Canelo, Marquez....

    just set the traps....

honestly, Khan would've been a harder fight.... because of his height and amateur style....

he would have been doing the running.... I guess Thurman might be next in line, depending how Khan's next fight goes....

What does this have to do with Manny? Is this a triple threat match between the 3? Is Pacquiao the referee? Does Marquez fight 6 then Pacquiao fights the remaining 6?

In all seriousness, they are different fighters. Also, let's not forget Mayweather dragged Marquez up 2 weight classes and deliberately came in overweight. Marquez never even fought a tune up fight at WW. He would have lost but this does bring context to it.

If you don't think this fight will be competitive, you are just a flat out biased moron, I'm sorry.

Marquez is a counter puncher. What did you expect? He's not very fast either and you think he was going to successfully counter punch one of the best counter punchers and defensively strong fighters in the game. Marquez's style was all wrong for Floyd. Pac's style isn't.

Keep telling yourself that son. Marquez has said recently it's 50/50 and Nacho is picking Pacquiao.

Pacquiao is completely different and closes the gap with his feet really fast to get inside and work.

Marquez and Canelo both look like they are walking in quick sand in comparison, they both fight great on the inside but have very slow feet.

Also Mayweather beat both at catch weights which made him look better.

Besides, it happened like 5-6 years ago in Floyd's peak.

Floyd isn't in his peak anymore.

If his countering game is on point for this fight he'll make it look easy.

JMM is a counterpuncher, he relies on fighters who go to him and counterpunch. What happens when a couterpuncher meets a longer, taller, faster counterpuncher?

    Styles makes fights.

This will be the best clinic Floyd will put on a masterclass poor many will have no reply for the pain that is coming.

Marquez is a counter puncher not a volume puncher. Maidana landed 221 punches, Castillo landed 203, De La Hoya landed 122, Alvarez landed 117, Guerrero landed 113, and Cotto landed 105 punches.

What's funny about this fight, is how everybody said "how much bigger Floyd was" than JMM.

Wait till they see the size difference with Pacquiao. JMM and Pac are about the same size. Pac is going to have a hell of a time getting around that 5 inch reach advantage Mayweather has. Speed is not going to be able to save him in this fight.

Mayweather is going to force Pacquiao to over-extend, which Pac does willingly, and that'll be a wrap.

Remember guys... this is Manny Pacquiao. The 8 division world champion. The guy who kept going up and up and up against guys who were 2x bigger than Floyd Mayweather. Remember, the guy everyone was in awe with because for some reason this small dude still kept beating these larger guys? The guy who's proven to everyone that for some weird reason, the bigger the guy is not a problem.

Pacquiao has fought guys bigger than him and Floyd Mayweather. Margarito, Algieri, ODLH, Mosley, Clottey, and more. Height won't be a factor and neither will his size because Pacquiao has a ton of experience and unparalleled success in this area.

Marquez could never achieve what Pacquiao has. Marquez can't climb weight classes and still defeat larger opponents. Pacquiao can. So, comparing the two for Mayweather fight (once again) doesn't work.
