Official Prediction Thread: Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao

Pacquiao drops Mayweather on route to a SD victory

 

The pressure is on Floyd ..........

I don't mind that most people think Floyd wins it just makes it that much satisfying when pac beats him

 

During the MM fight Floyd had the look of a man who didn't want to be there.

Floyd hasn't been fighting boxers while Manny has prepared for Floyd by facing Bradley and Alg.

Floyd ain't fought a fast guy in 5 years.

When was the last time Floyd fought a fast southpaw with power? Judah; who gave him problems. Pac is still levels above that version of Judah while Floyd has slipped, no legs.


Pac will beat him.

 

So far I'm picking Pacquiao but will make a final pick as time goes by. Still too early to decide, I'd like to see some videos, news..etc about how both are doing in training both psychologically and physically. This is far too big of a fight to make an early prediction. :smoke

 

Floyd by decision factoring that this fight is in las vegas but in reality pac will win 7-8 rounds while floyd wins 4-5 rounds. Joyboys will claim that it is not a robbery like the first bradley fight.

 

Do we still think Floyd can fight hard for 12 rounds?

On those legs?

In the centre of the ring? (stay away from the ropes Floyd)

With bad hands? With not enough pop to keep Pac off of him?

 

Best time to make a pick. Before the hype scrambles rational thought. :yep

AH! How many lefts to the face will it take for Floyd to take a nap on the canvass?

 

Finally all i can say right now is that this is probably the best time for Pac to have a chance in taking that zero away from Floyd.. not 2,3,4,5 or 6 years ago.

 

This could be anticlimatic fight... I mean we all know both figthters way past their prime... Pacman last KO was 5 years ago while Mayweather only won by KO once in last 8 years.


However, watching Cotto fight against both fighters and if Maidana was so close in their first fight , I'd say Manny could pose a threat to Mayweather even if he's not as fast as 5 years ago.

In last few years I've been thinking that Floyd will beat today's version of Pacman, but the I'm afraid that because Floyd will trying to protect his 0 at all cost, he'll just play it save therefore it could even ended with a draw and boxing fans will be disapointed and the two guys gets even more $$

 

Pac has also had leg problems. Cramping.

 

I put my money on Pacquiao based on Floyd's ducking for years. Floyd has doubts in his mind that he can beat Pacquiao. :deal

I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE PAC ATTACKING FLOYD AGAINST THE ROPES. AGAINST SLOW ASS, MEXIPLODDERS, FLOYD CAN CHILL AND WAIT OUT THE ONSLAUGHT TO ATTACK.

FLOYD CAN DO THAT W/ PAC... TO HIS DETRIMENT.

He hasn't had that in his last since Roidquez III. I believe he warms up on a treadmill before fights now.

 

Mayweather by 10th or 11th round TKO he is going to make Pacquiao drunk and then mug him late in the fight like he did to Glass Jawed Ricky Hatton. Pacquiao's Chin has been shattered and he has been matched with handpicked feather fisted opponents since then for a reason.
