He has no opponents lined up and team golovkin have already said they would fight in may or june why is cotto running? I would of gave him a pass if he fought canelo but he has no one worthy even money wise than golovkin now which makes it worse.............. its cotto's fault GGG wants the lineal mw belt and cotto won it so he should defend it against his mando but cotto has not even have the best punch resistance for a ww let alone a mw but he brought it onto himself by fighting a shot Martinez.....
I'm still scratching my head how they let the canelo fight slip away. It was clear canelo and GBP wanted the fight. It would have been the biggest money fight by far for cotto apart from a mayweather rematch and a very winnable fight too. Now he is left with nobody to fight but golovkin but we know that's not going to happen as he would most likely get beat up but for less money. Boxing's just ****ing weird how the fight that makes most sense doesn't always happen.
