Firstly it is called football, that is why it is played with the feet, as opposed to the hands.

Secondly if I want the opinion of a Murican I will tell it to them.

Thirdly I watched the McCrory fight, and the Curry fight, and even then Mike was well behind until the equaliser left hook. I also saw him rightly lose to Kalambay in 88 on TV. On the strength of that I got tickets to see him fight both Herol Graham and Mike Watson ( which was a brilliant fight ) at the Albert Hall, though I didn't even see the Collins fight in between. And I am telling you there was a marked difference between the guy who beat McCrory, and the guy who beat Herol and Mike Watson.

I watched the second Kalambay fight on TV, and if it had gone the other way I would have had no complaints, as I didn't have with Mike getting the result.

However only a fool would believe McCallum was anything like he was when Toney fought him as when he was beating McCrory, or even losing to Kalambay.

    That is obviously your department.

You are right about Loudon, he is a gentleman, so I treat him as such, because he doesn't come across as aloud mouthed know it all pri ck. Perhaps that is because he is NOT Murican. You work it out.

So you love Lennox Lewis, whoopee do. Wtf has that got to do with your frankly stupid claim that betting favourites get sympathy points from judges, due to them being favourites. Either PROVE it or STFU.

You are contriving to make Dizzy Lizzy, and Gimperial look as if they know what they are talking about.

We're all in agreement that fighters decline with age. You selectively forget that when talking about Roy Jones, but no matter. in 1990-1991 Mike McCallum beat Collns, Kalambay, and Watson. Watson had just TKO'd the legendary Nigel Benn in 1989.

Those were three very good wins. So is it fair to say that the 1992 Mike McCallum, although not as good as the 1987 McCallum, must have had a lot left given his recent excellent form against a pair of British legends?

To argue otherwise seems a bit silly and self-defeating. After all, it means that a shot Mike McCallum beat up Steve Collins and Michael Watson, two British warriors who I assume you admire. And considering that Watson had just TKO'd Benn and would go on to give Chris Eubank all he could handle in 1991, it pretty much means that 5 of the best British fighters in history were considerably inferior to a shot Mike McCallum.

I rate Jones' win over Toney higher than I do G. Johnson's win over Roy..

The question was if Toney had lost some of those close fights. Had Toney been brutally stopped and lost his belt in his previous fight before Roy, I would not rate the win nearly as high.

perhaps you'd like jones to magically wait till toney was turning 40something- that would be an awesome win then according to failey.

Look at what Foxy has wrote about the struggles Toney had and compare that to some of the other fighters around at that time. I am not sure how he was P4P #2.
Can you show me a source to say he was P4P #2?
