The ban bet can't be forgotten, we will have record on who bet on who.

The losers will have a chance to stay for 1 month, to console them and discuss with them why their bet gone wrong... then the winners will kick them out of this forum.

Ban bets are pathetic especially when literally everyone just creates an alt. A week off at very best is reasonable and even that will most likely be ignored.

Yes everyone can just create an alt but an alt can't replace the reputation of your original name especially if you're an oldtimer here. Like for example yourself "Scar" with a joined date of July 2004 (whoa). I'm sure you valued those attributes of your original forum name.

I don't know if you have a dog in this fight. ;)

I'm too afraid of "home cooking" for this. If Mayweather stops Pacquiao you're welcome to ban me though.

I signed up. Easy fight for Manny. And I dont got an alt because unlike Mayweather fans we boxing fans actually got pride, dignity and self-respect

Temprorary bans are fine, but permanent bans are really not necessary over the outcome of a fight.

i think permanent will show who are those really confident on the capabilities of their boxer defeating the other boxer.

A perm ban might be a big deal to someone who has a fair few thousand posts or is a well known poster etc but to anyone else its not really a massive deal.

I agree. I was thinking of limiting the perm bet to oldtimers (those with join date of maybe 2010 and older) but it's difficult to control. Then I just decide to let everybody join the fun.

Newbies doesn't really care if they get permanently banned. :D
