Some fighters are just natural at the weight. I think Froch is. I spoke to Ken Buchanan a few years back, doing the weight for him was never an issue. He was never much more than 9-9 between fights.

Very few fighters walk around near there weight, well certainly not in Scotland and it seems worse in England according to the stories coaches have told me

I noticed the excess body fat around his mid section (back), I thought he looked in poorer condition compared to the first fight if I'm honest. Not that I'm one to talk personally!! I'd kill for a bodyfat percentage like him !

yeah i found it very strange mate he weighed in 2.5lbs under the 168lb limit yet on fight night he looked massive and fleshy in terms of bodyfat, strange as he looked very lean on the scales

Or it could mean just like we know that the scales have absolutely **** all indication of what shape you are in?

Calzaghe used to walk around heavier than Enzo Mac used to walk around.

He really was massive at super middle.

CWM Cyclone promotions Youtube channel have videos of Carl Frampton's build-up to the Avalos fight.
In this episode Shane talks about body fat and eating right on the lead up to the fight. It's a good watch. He seems to know his stuff!
