Sorry if this thread has already been done but what do you all think of this?

If Smith gets a shot at AA, which is potentially winnable we could see this as a unification providing DeGale gets past Dirrell.

This would leave Groves out in the cold.

For me DeGale wins but very hard fight.

I've gone for Smith on points. Got all the physical assets there and I know Degale is a good fighter but I think he has been given the right fights to look as good as possible.

Degale would give that stiff oat too many angles to think about and outpoint him easily.

What is your problem with the Smiths? Just wandering because you display some very strong and maybe unwarranted opinions about all of them.

    Really?

I've made a few posts about them, saying that Callium stepping up to face abraham would be too much for him.

And that degale would be too much for because I believe CS is a european level fighter at best.

Sorry that I don't believe he is the best thing since sliced bread just because he discarded a few bums and jim watt gets overexcited by every punch he throws.

What you said then is fine, but on previous posts you have used someone unfair things when discussing them. Stiff oat is what you used in your previous comment, and I know you have been quite disrespectful previous to now.

Sorry I actually meant to say he's a stiff oaf not oat.

If you watched any of Callum's fight you'd see he doesn't have much lateral movement, or head movement and has a tendancy to get pegged back on to the ropes.

He thinks his size is enough to see him through but like Paul Smith he is stiff and predictable

It's only a matter of time before he steps up and gets exposed.

I'm sorry if you take it as being disrespectful but there is no sugar coating the truth.

It's a couple of years to early for Callum

Callum is a bit stiff, no head movement. DeGale beats him

I really rate Callum, but Degale is the one boxer I would want him to keep clear of.

Degale is a really smart boxer. Keep him away for at least 12-18 months

Its fine if you say this fighter beats this fighter because of this this and this. That is just an opinion and everyone is entitled to one. What irritates me is when people just say he loses to him because he is a useless bum, he cant do this and he has no ability. That is what is disrespectful and for someone to say that, not just you by the way, there are plenty worse than you but I have seen a lot of distaste towards the Smiths recently and that to me is upsetting because they all seem to be such a nice family and never talk down to anyone despite what is said about them.

As for the fight though, you are right he does lack head movement and he is not the quickest fighter either. I think though because he is always going to be the slower fighter he is able to make the most of his assets.

I don't rate Degale as highly as some do, don't get me wrong he looks a good fighter but I think there are plenty of faults to take advantage of, and I see him as a comfortable fight for Smith.

DeGale should beat him at this stage. DeGale clear UD.

Smith needs to be moved at the right pace, not too slowly and not rushed either. You can see he's a big talent.

People are getting ahead of themselves mentioned Degale & Groves.
