what the heck??? This is far beyond an aboustle joke. Who the heck were the people to even decide something like this? - boxingvoice announced this. No 24/7 or all acess for such a big fight like this is just plain stuipid.
all acces and 24/7 is used to hype up a fight this fight does not need no hyping ........... all that needs to be said is mayweather vs pacquaio live on ppv may 2 mgm and people will order the fight:yep
if true then yes that's a joke.... should have this at least, but why are they saying it wont happen?
There will be a documentary produced by both sides in lead up to this fight. Honestly, we don't need to see any more shows from these two. We know Floyd has lots of cars, women, and fake weed. Pac has been on 24/7 many times as well.
Not needed. It's tired/old. The better option would be to have/create something new, on prime time CBS. If you want exposure, that's how you do it. Put it on where people with "regular cable television" will see it. Not HBO/Showtime. People have to realize, it's been a LONG time since boxing has had any presence on stations like CBS and NBC. It could be huge if utilized properly by the sport.
yeh but who can argue that it doesn't hype the fight more? when i watch 24/7 or all acc. then i get hyped for the fight even more......
I'd like to see an all access or a 24/7 type of show. Press conferences are one thing but I like the shows. I think they want to make as much money as they can and not have a big budget for promoting the fight.
They need to change it up though. I agree with an earlier post that mentioned something along the lines of a documentary. Build the background of the fighters, and the struggles of how they got there. Don't just show the destination, it's the journey that is the story. You got to make the public personally connected to their lives and personalities. And I would recommend prime time CBS if they really wanted exposure. Just IMO. Pacquiao's story would without a doubt get huge accolades by many Americans who don't know it in particular. His life journey is simply amazing.
24/7 has been on its way out for a while. They used do 6 episodes. Hasn't been that many for a fight in years. Plus ,it costs a lot of money to produce. No need to spend money where its not needed.
You expect Pacquiao & Floyd to allow a bunch of camera men following them around whilst they train for the biggest fight of their lives? ha!
As much as I want a 24/7 or All Access for this one.. I think it'll be too much, I think we pretty much know everything about them anyways.. We've been focused on them for 5 years now. An hour or so special on both fighters for casuals who don't want to waste time watching a 4 part series about a sport they rarely watch is not a great idea imo. I hope they do justice with it though.
