Stylistic nightmare for Solis since Thompson rarely over commits himself, is tough to reach off the front foot with big shots, and has good wrestling ability in the clinches.

And unfit Solis is likely to be wrestled and potshotted for 10 rds and handed yet another crucial loss.

OR.......Thompson might be ready to walk away, and hasnt prepared and walks into a CR hand. Unlikely.:think

Meh, Avalos is extremely one-dimensional.

Anyone knows why this fight takes place in Antalya, Turkey? Interesting location for a decent heavyweight fight. It could at least be in Istanbul or something.

First time Ahmet Öner has staged an event there. (has done over a dozen in Turkey)

 

It costs almost $100/hr to rent a gymnasium in Istanbul, and folding chairs are almost $2/day.

They'd be looking at spending almost 2K just to put on the event in Istanbul.

 

Only about half of the Öner cards in Turkey have been in the actual city of Istanbul. There are plenty of cheaper alternatives that can & have been used. Why not Trabzon, Ankara, or Tekirdağ as in the past? (the former two major cities in the country's top 5 in population, the latter a suburb of Istanbul, ancient settlement and tourist spot)

Why a minor city like Antalya? In a golf resort & hotel, of all places?

Wrong. Thompson would be a contender in any era. His success would vary obviously, but he would be relevant nonetheless.
