Why does nobody ever talk about this match up? Adrien Broner vs Juan Manuel Marquez?

Broner is surely a live dog in this match given JMM age and knee injury. Alvarado was competitive against JMM for stretches, there's no reason why Broner can't as well. Juan still stands nothing to gain from this fight.

Alvarado wasn't competitive imo. He was battered.

Sure, but what I really don't get is why nobody talks about Broner, Crawford, Bradley, and Danny Garcia getting in the ring together. They are all the same size and weight. They are the same generation and elite fighters, but nobody ever talks about them fighting. All the discussion is whether one of them will fight Floyd or Pac or Marquez from the last generation.

There's more interest in a passing of the torch.

I don't care if he KO1ed him, Broner is never touching a torch of Marquez's.

That's like mentioning PAC vs broner or Floyd vs broner or cotto vs broner. Broner failed his B level fighter in chino, he blew his chance and has to bounce back.

I doubt jmm would even entertain the idea of this .
