Is this for real? Is he actually still fighting on the undercard of butler? I hate to sound like a negative kinda guy, but he's risking an awful lot in taking the fight isn't he? Aside from the fact he may get injured or hurt, there's a distinct possibility he may get beat - as easy as some tune up fights are, there are sometimes upsets & one would defo rule him out of his title shot.

to be fair it really boils down to how derry's feels and obviously he's cool with it, The Hungarian gave Crolla and Harrison a few rounds so mabe he will do likewise for Derry before the big one

which is an excellent point. He's been around for seemingly ever but he's what 31/32??? He's been british champ a before getting folded by Choi then seemed to go on a run of defeats. He has done well lately but id love to know how much a fighter like Derry earns over a career for the dedication they have to put in
