After 6, Floyd's nose will be bloodied.

they are similar - very aggressive throw from awkward angles, relentless and never get tired. Weight has no relevance here a guy weighing 5-10 lbs more does nothing at all, this isn't wrestling..

they are similar. Out of all the fighters Floyd has faced lately, Maidana is the most similar to Pacquiao's style. Granted, no-one fights like Pacquiao. As Robert Garcia said 'it's much easier to prepare for Floyd than it is to prepare for Pacquiao' and he would know best as he has faced both twice. Having said this, if i had to pick one of Floyd's past opponents who mostly resembles Pac's style, it would be Maidana.

people are really putting little weight on Floyd's mediocre performances against Maidana, he didm;t look that dominant... i would be worried if i were Floyd fans. Pacquiao looked better against Bradley and algieri

"if" maidana had all those qualities that you listed above, he still wouldn't be the second coming of manny.
Maidana uses his weight as an advantage when he fights, ie... Laying on his opponent on the ropes, coupled with very bullish techniques, manny is more polished than Manny.
As far as people feeling Floyd may have an easier time than pac in the ring, is due to the advantages that they feel floyd has over manny, and the main ones are ring generalmanship, and skill.
Add that to Manny's somewhat leaky defense and overzealousness, they make a pretty good argument.

What is going to be interesting for the first 6 rounds is Pacqiao is going to come at Jr like a buzz saw .
Floyd will not to be allowed to throw his usual 30 punches a round. This is not Cotto Canelo or Oscar who always faded late in the fight .
Only then we will see who controls the last 6 rounds.

on defense - what defense did maidana show? any at all? why didn't Floyd just KO him or totally pick it apart?

you call it bullish vs polished, i call it aggressiveness. They are both relentless. Also, they weren't wrestling ok? Floyd's movement isn't what it used to be and found himself against the ropes more often than usual. I'm not sure Maidana is even stronger than Pacquiao, many say how strong pac is, stronger than he looks. This is a dude that absolutely destroyed Cotto, ODLH, Margarito and Rios - all bigger than Floyd. People make it sound like Pac is a small weakling who has never faced bigger opponents. Floyd's size will not be much of a factor in my opinion and his feather fists aren't going to do as much damage as people think.

right and people forget, Floyd has always had a speed advantage, he won't have it now. 'Target practice', well sure only if he's willing ti be target practice himself every time he throws.

If i had to compare both, Manny has had more highs are lows, Floyd has been more stable. What Manny did vs Cotto, Hatton, ODLH, Margareito, Rios is stuff Floyd has rarely, if ever produced. Of course, Manny has also had 5 losses (well 4 excluding robbery). I think peak Manny >>> peak Floyd BUT avg Floyd >>> avg Manny.

Manny does not come into the ring heavier than maidana, nor does he use his weight as an advantage.

Floyd has enough pop, that coupled with timing, and accuracy, enough to keep pac honest, he may not one punch Jo him, but manny just won't rush in reckless.

If it was so easy, then why didn't he make the fight 5 years ago haha? Oh that's right, he waited for the right time for Pac to fade. Seems the floydjoys don't know as much about Floyd as the man himself.

After watching Hopkins cover up, run, against Kovalev, I will not take anything he says seriously................hell............after Kovalev knocked Hopkins down, Hopkins refused to even fight................he just ran, covered up to keep from getting knocked out and still almost got knocked out in the last round.................

By Hopkins assesment a back and forth fight through the first 6 rounds would be close on the scorecards. A knockdown is worth one point.
Hopkins predicts it will be target practice for Floyd after the 6th, if this is to be correct, a knockdown early on by Pacquiao should'nt make any difference.

Guys, you will read and hear all kinds of weirdo comments from Pacs armchairs. Pacs fans are clueless about this sport. They dis you personally, the dis boxers personally all because of their love for Pac.

Bottom line is they are new to the sport. Instead of learning the sport they became spoiled and **** rode Pac, didn't chastise him when he was using PEDs, and they accused Marquez of cheating. They were never humble when he was being knocked out at flyweight, or almost knocked out by a Hussein jab. They weren't fair to Marquez when he asked for a lil more money in fight 2. They screamed Pac is the A side Marquez should be happy with what he's getting.

I won't even comment on the lw and ww wins that in my mind are clouded with PED suspicion.

The boxing world is tired of them, and come May 2nd, they will be history. It's either that or appreciate boxers outside of the Pac nation. Your day of reckoning is coming Pac. You be fighting the best and smartest boxer on earth. Floyd will be just fighting another guy.
