A friend of mine is judging tonight's show and has seen him before and said he can't really crack an egg. :yep She thought Spike might have dropped off the card, though - but he's still listed on Boxrec. :err I'm hoping she was mistaken. If on, he's gonna knock Larry Smith's head clear into my lap (2nd row) :bbb Oh, and the kid I know that was originally going to have fought on the card that pulled out (creating room for O'Sullivan and McLoughlin to be flown over to fill the void) - 12-0 (9) Mark DeLuca, whose kid brother fought alongside me in a smoker a couple years back, and whose uncle is actually my barber (small world!) - apparently had to pull out because he just signed with Al Haymon and has a bigger show in another state to prep for instead. She asked "do you know who this Haymon guy is?" and I just started chuckling. :yep
Yeah I saw the weigh in pics and everything, its definitely happening. Watch out for Mayo heavyweight Gary Sweeney in action tonight for the Mexico Guerreros against the British Lionhearts as well lads. First fight in the WSB for Sweeney, who's a talented young fighter:good
yup Con's very excited and is a skilled and very tough and strong heavyweight moving to Philly too which is great news, he could be a slow burner in the heavyweight division but his one of the few heavyweight that id say has been boxing from a very young age as Holyfield said heavyweight now days wait until they get big before they learn to box they should be learning when there small however id love to see con start at cruiser, he was a beast when he was younger at that weight and i think he could get down to that weight with day before weigh in's then come into the ring in the 220's
we have an interview with McLaughlin on the site today http://www.irish-boxing.com/mclaughlin-drops-weight-move-rankings-fights-welter-america-tonight/
We can claim Dillian Whtye via the Granda rule too http://www.irish-boxing.com/video-man-stop-joshua-irish-grandfather-excited-belfast-debut/
Strange choice I think. Never been too impressed with what I've seen and heard of Hunter. Outside of his win over Alexander, Khan hasn't looked great since Hunter took over. If Sheehan is going to be based in Phillie, how is it going to work with Hunter who's base is Oakland?
