I also believe Mayweather wont be able to handle Pacquiao's speed effectively.

Marquez was forced to exchange in the process and hurt/dropped numerous times. Pacquiao has never ever been totally beaten, even in his losses he was deeply into the fight and was either winning or giving his opponents hell.

Reality is, both Mayweather and Pacquiao haven't fought opponents as good as one another. Both have attributes that they never dealt with before, which is what makes this fight overly exciting.

Pac was almost killed by Marquez. Floyd easily beat Marquez. A lot of you expect this to be a fight. I don't. Psc has no chin, and he will only be dangerous early. No EPO, no wins. Floyd will see the feint straight left right hook yesterday. I don't expect this to be Floyds best win. Could be one of his easiest.

I will only retort to this....Someone who has said in probably his last 4 fights he's had issues with his legs during the fight has fresher legs?

Pacquiao almost killed Marquez too. Marquez' trainer was openly threatening to stop the fight a round before the stoppage occurred and Marquez suffered a concussion after the fight. Sure Pacquiao lost, but Marquez had to go through the worst experience of his entire career during and after the fight.

floyd fans don't want to hear any of this and get defensive when we bring the Maidana fights into the conversation. They make Maidana out to be some big monster made out of iron to explain why Floyd couldn't hurt him or dominate him. Maidana is not an elite fighter, even his trainer Robert Garcia has called him 'limited'. Yet, it's as if these two fights never happened and what's fresh in Floyd fans' minds are the Gatti and hatton fights, of like 8+ years ago, and against two limited fighters.

reality is that the MAIDANA fights DID HAPPEN, they weren't imaginary and Floyd didn't look good, he was challenged by a limited fighter. Reality also is that Pacquiao is a superior fighter, pretty much in every single category, even defense.

I'm not sure Maidana would've even beaten Algieri! i would've bet on Algieri, the faster more technical fighter. Let's not even talk about Bradley, Bradley would've toyed with Maidana IMO....

I remember leading up to that fight I was predicting JMM to outbox him again, but to get the decision that time too. I had JMM winning the 2nd and 3rd fights. But the beating Pac put on JMM before that stoppage was insane. That's the best he's looked in years.:deal

Foh. Marquez is a man who can take punishment and dish it out. He knew going into all 4 fights that he would have to take some to give some. Only this time he almost killed Pac.

So what Pac hurt Marquez. It's a fight **** happens. On the flip side of that, being hurt turned JMM into the dangerous wounded animal that he always becomes when hurt...and JMM loaded up and ****ed that counter right and damn near killed Pac lol. That's what great fighters/counterpunchers do when you try to go in for the kill.

I really don't know what is going to happen in this one part of me think Pacquiao will destroy him then at times I think the reverse but ultimately I think we will see a very controversial split decision in a classic fight where both men put in a great performance and people argue about the result forever.

I may be wrong boxing often surprises me.

Fact is Maidana has an uncoventional style and throws punches from strange angles at times, he also has deceptively fast feet, so was able to close the distance on Mayweather and back him up.

Pacquiao is an even more unconventional fighter, who throws punches from strange angles, and has faster feet and much much faster hands then Maidana, and Pacquiao is a southpaw and Mayweather isnt a defensive master when fighting a southpaw. if MM could win 3 or 4 rounds against Mayweather in their first fight i expect Pacquiao to win double that at least.

Pacquiao may be fast, but he's predictable and his technique leaves something to be desired. Mayweather is gonna put on a jab and right hand clinic.
