James was only 21, and he was fighting every month at that point.

It didn't alter the fact that when he fought Roy four years later, he was regarded as one of the best fighters in the world.

Its not that I dont want to answer, but struggle to answer due to how close the fight was. Cant see what the problem with that is?
There are many examples of close fights being completely different in a rematch, and that may be case here, but the original fight happened and problems were seen

Also how do you not get Charles Williams>Dave Tiberi? Charles Williams implemented the same game plan with the same trainer and got KOd. I guess it was a tough fight for Toney's left eye considering the placement of Williams head and shoulder for 12 rds, but nonetheless he was up a good 3-4 rounds going into the 12th. You didn't watch the fight.

I asked a hyperthetical question asking if real life close decisions had of gone the other way, which has value and you come out with hyperthetical questions about rematches that never happened and that has no value atsch:nut.

I didnt know it was the same trainer but you further proved all of my points and showed that there was a style problem there that some fighters could use to good success and both had success at times with that style. None of your points have been proven and you have in fact now contradicted yourself multiple times. Its like you forget all the statements you previously made on this thread. I'm not even gonna continue to touch on the Williams fight, because you didn't watch it. Just like you didn't watch the Dave Tiberi fight.

What hasnt been proven and what has been contradicted?
We agreed toney had a tough close fight with Tiberi. I said often a style weakness can be seen when fighters struggle in tough close fights, that other top fighters can capitalise on. With this you sited Toneys win over C Williams saying he had the same game plan, yet fail to note that was another tough fight for Toney that went back and forth before the KO. You contradicted yourself there

You said a top fighter could expose Toney using Tiberi's game plan. Chares williams tried and got KOd for his troubles. Toney SD Tiberi, but that doesnt mean it wasnt a hard fought debateable fight does it, where the decision could have gone the other way.
