When you Sky+ Channel 490 you are prompted for your pin number and it checks whether it is ordered. Then it comes up as set for a recording. I normally do this in my multi room. However this week I have a house full of casuals and therefore I swapped my viewing cards with Sky. But when I now try to record it says already ordered. I have been on Boxnation Customer Service and there appears to be nothing wrong technically. The plan is to swap between ITV & Bonxation throughout the night via Sky+ to keep the fight flowing and minimise the padding. I have now set the Sky+ for Channel 437, but really want it on HD. Any ideas folks?
Im switching to normal tv for ITV until the main event then i switch to sky for ITV hd but not too bothered about the fury fight, but it will get recorded
I've been on to them before. They said it was because I was in Ireland. Absolute horsesh!t. You can't record the HD channel in Ireland only the regular channel. I promptly cancelled my subscription and am currently watching a HD stream.
do you ever stop with your pathetic bollox? clearly you have much bigger mental issues than most of the forum In answer to OP, before I cancelled my sky I frequently had problems recording HD versions of channels. SD always records fine but 8/10 attempts to record HD failed, especially for PPV events. Same problem with 3 different set top boxes.
I recorded channel 437 in the end I swapped between the channels via Sky+ and watched both bills without padding and adverts. Good night with curry and Kronenbourgs. I think the problem is that HD is treated like a PPV on the Sky Box which limit recording
You have to put your pin in but it doesn't charge. Caught me out when I first subscribed as well Pro Punter - you can comment on stuff other than Boxnation mate. You're obsessed. Starting to think you might be a Skeete obsessive as well
Boxnation HD is setup like a PPV channel, except when you have a box nation subscription the charge is £0. I think you need to put the card back in the orginal box and cancel the recording first so you can order it again on the other box, make sure the card gets paired to the other box too else you might get more unwanted surprises on the night. check the SD box nation channel works, if that does it should be fine.
