Why don't Floyd's opponents run just like him?

DLH was winning by a wide margin and then started "running" against Tito. A lot of good that did him.

Also, why would you try to do what Floyd does, if you're not nearly as good at it as he is?

They do. Pacquiao has been chasing him for about six or seven years.

the point is you can't box and commit for 6ish rounds then run the rest of the night. that's a recipe for disaster.

I just don't understand why people call it running but they're on a boxing forum. Irony.

Basically, instead of rushing Floyd, the OP expects guys to dart in and out and expect Floyd to not figure that out?

Because alot of people have never set foot in the ring and are armchair experts.

pac has stepped inside a ring infact won quite a few things and he also calls it running so are you gonna doubt pac has stepped in a ring?

plenty other fighters who have done more than step in a ring and won world titles also call it running

Well considering he has only been down on the scorecards after the first 6 rounds 3 times out of 47, i would say that his opponent coasting rounds when already down, probably not a good strategy. And then there's the whole running thing you said, considering he doesnt run, what he does is this crazy thing called boxing (who knew, lol). There's also the fact that even though he doesnt do it often, he does know how to cut of the ring as evidenced by the aforementioned Mosley, and Zab Judah fights. So heis opponents are usually in the predicament of figuring out that he can pretty much do it all in the squared circle, so they are darned if they do, and darned if they dont.
