Manchester for the Froch - Groves 1 was the best atmosphere I've ever been in

Second was Wembley for the return (only reason I picked Manchester over the 1st was that all night at Manchester was rocking where as at Wembley was only really 20 mins before main event that it erupted)

But aside from Froch - Groves ,that Josh Warrington at Leeds for his euro tilt was an amazing atmosphere - though was more surreal than anything!

But that Belfast show there looks a ******* , would of enjoyed that I reckon

Am I right in thinking that was the outdoor? He had the silly carrier bags over his boots??

& there's something about the MEN isn't there, get them all crammed in & it's a blinder .

Worst by far was Mathews vs Ormond at the echo - empty seats everywhere & half the arena was behind a Curtain but still looked dead

I was at Fury v Chisora 1 at Wembley in 2011 and the big black curtain was in play. Even with the curtain there was no more than 1,200 at the fight including the cast of Eastenders and David Price.

No atmosphere at all and most of the 1,200 left before the end of round 7.

I was only a kid but went to both McGuigan/Pedroza and Bruno/Witherspoon. Add that to the first big show I went to; aged six: Hagler/Minter; and I think you can understand why I thought boxing was amazing.

Although I went to most, if not all the big shows in the UK during the early/mid 90s, I suspect the only show in the world that may have had a better atmosphere than those mentioned during this period, was the Chavez/Haugen Azteca show.

Been to tons of shows over the last 10 years or so and genuinely the best atmosphere I remember was Hatton/Magee.

Hatton, Farnell and Gomez were all on the bill and had huge fanbases themselves but Magee brought a load of Irish over and they were loud as **** too. Was a great atmosphere that night.

Agreed about the MEN. Best arena in the country for Boxing.

The town centre is mint on a night out after a big fight, too.

Also helps that Manchester is nicely centred in the country!

Imagine a FW fight between Frampton v Warrington. The crowd would be unreal
