Clearly he isn't preparing, but rather hype building.
Besides Firtha 3½ years ago, he fought nobody that even slightly mimics Wlad's size and reach and of course lightyears removed from Wlad's level and power.

If he was preparing the Ustinov fight would have come off, maybe Wach (too dangerous probably) or at least against the featherfisted Scott, to see if and how he can maintain his style against someeone that size. But they probably fear he wouldn't look too good (or worse) and no sane boxfan would give him a chance if that happened.

@V.Iced. Well I HAVE already expressed alarm that Fury hasn't fought anybody his own size, and I wasn't going to give you the southpaw argument mate. Ive got serious concerns about Fury. I am sure he won't fight again until he gets his shot, against whoever. And IM also worried that he starts eating wrong/Boozing or both in the meantime. I just feel if he DID do things right he'd have the best chance vs Wlad apart from maybe Wilder. Wlad won't last forever, and he's been stopped before. I think, though,he's doing things wrong and you're probably right. Wlad probably wins but Im not entirely writing Fury off. Not writing Jennings off either, but he's got a mountain to climb in April. Theres a general feeling among so called experts that Fury beats Wilder. Im not sure about that either. Wilder DOES appear to do things right.

    Fury won't see round 5.

He has nothing over Wlad except height and weight. But give me a 6'7 supreme athlete over a 6'9 baby build fighter any day.

Wlad and he will make it look easy.

Well, Fury also has: stamina, shot selection, shot-variety, the ability to fight small, the ability to fight inside, lateral movement, head-movement, switch-hitting and footwork 'over' Wlad.

So Wlad will make it look anything but easy. Unless Wlad tags Fury early, he'll look like a lost child in a supermarket after the first minute.

    Awful post.

Fury has yet to fight a top 10 heavyweight yet he has all these advantages over the divisions number 1. :rofl

It's easy to look great when fighting journeymen like Fury, Wlad looks great beating quality opposition.

Fury will be like a deer in the headlights when he's actually across the ring to a wlad.

    Ha ha, cheers lads/ladettes!

Wlad for sure is formidable but is too basic and with no plan B.

I said earlier this will be like a high(er)-level Thompson V Price with Wlad playing the part of Price. I stand by it.

You're all welcome to your predictions, life would be boring if we all agreed!

You did say some moronic things in your post. Wlad's not a perfect fighter, but his stamina is superb and his footwork is amongst best in heavyweight history. To suggest that Fury has advantage in those aspects shows that you don't know anything about boxing.

Fury's lack of action against big opennents will be a big problem for him, apart from Nicolai Firtha I can't remember many other big fighters he's fought.
He's not as daft as he seems, all his fights have been in his favour, avoiding Price to fight Rogan was embarrassing but looks to be a great decision as he has kept fighting smaller heavyweights which suit him down to the ground.
klitschko would absolute dominate him and stop mid rounds.

Well 'moronic' is a bit far.....

Wlad's footwork is fast and athletic but NOT that of a quality, natural prize fighter. It's been trained into him and he's learned well but skipping in-and-out in straight lines doesn't impress me as much as it does you clearly.

His stamina is not superb IMO but his tactics allow him to fight steadily and remain dangerous all through 12 rounds. If/when Fury takes it to him and makes it a s****py affair on the inside, get's him nervous/shook he'll be huffing and puffing like nobody's business! All that muscle doesn't carry itself and it certainly doesn't aid stamina.

Name-call if you like but be prepared for some back should your unshakable faith in Wlad prove misplaced......:good

I have unshakable faith in the result of Wlad v Fury, more due to Fury's weaknesses as a fighter, rather than thinking that Wlad is unbeatable. You are overrating his massively as a fighter, he has beaten a bunch of pretty average guys and quite often looked very vulnerable whilst doing so. When is the last time Wlad was even hit by a clean punch?
