Are People Underestimating Tyson Fury?

Oh he doesnt look good physically I see, must make him useless then

If Wilder was switching stances and landing the combos Fury lands and you switched Wilders technique with Fury, people would laugh at him even more

Its hard for people to admit it because he's such a ****head, but I hate to break it to you, Fury is good, very good

 

He can do a lot of things , but he has very little power in those arm punches, his defence is nothing speacial and fighters like haye, wlad, wilder all beats him , haye and wilder knocks him out, wlad in his prime also would have knocked fury out.

btw those "arm punches" are just set up punches, not every fighter puts everything into every punch, not every fighter is a windmiller like Deontay who falls over when they try to throw a punch, it's called boxing. Hammer got hammered, Chisora got chisselled, Deontay would get Detonated

 

When you are throwing arm punches anyone can go 12. Fury is feather fisted and hasn't ever gone a hard 12 rounds.

You can clearly hear Peter telling him not to load up on his shots between rounds. They are only using the fight to sharpen Tyson's tools. Nothing more.

Worst thing is that Haye is a typical load mouth britclown , because I was really waiting for fight between these two to happen . I'm certain that haye would have dropped fury many times and prob finished him.

 

No he's pretty much seen as a loudmouth by all, he isn't some beloved Brit or even Irish heavyweight

because Haye has REAL handspeed and REAL power, unlike Wilder

 

USS was a hand picked fight the guy has ZERO KO's at Heavyweight? Why? Because he is a Cruiserweight and Fury had to foul the hell out of him and literally hold on to him with one arm and club him with the other to KO him. It was pitiful. And that is his best Heavyweight win.

 

That's how I see it:
Haye vs wilder is 70/30 in favor of haye, haye fury is 80/20 in hayes favor , and wilder vs fury is 65/35 in favor of wilder. I agree that fury is more skilled and better boxer than wilder ,but he lacks power and his defense is nothing special.

 

Explain to me how meaningful it is cruising to Decisions against his awful competition with arm punches? The guy is 6'9 260 and punches like a freaking Middleweight. It is laughable. Where is the glory in going to UD's all the time? I mean people say Wlad is 'boring' for using his size but at least he can savagely KO people. Fury just runs around throwing Amir Khan type pitter pat flurries all fight and it is some sensational performance? :huh

What difference is USS not blocking the shot and Fury knocking his guard away.
The shot would have put him out for the count either way. And if you watched the fight you's know USS was out on his feet from a terrible uppercut to the body.

Fury was just a rising contender at the time. He wasn't no major player. Cunningham was on the same level. It was a good win for Fury
