It's a very common career path these days.

Meh. I appreciate that Wlad has looked pretty formidable and not looked rocked in his recent fights. I'm not arguing that.

I do think that's helped by a couple things besides his skill-set, namely: favourable reffing and lucky/well managed opponent choice.

To be fair to Fury though, he's taken on similar competition in the last 3 years, more often than Wlad and either provided a KO, systematic beat-down or very wide points decision. Not entirely convinced that constitutes looking 'very vulnerable'.

If we're deciding the outcome based on either fighters knock-downs and getting hit flush then I'm afraid Wlad comes off worse......

This fight is competitive for me, I'm looking forward to a good contest if they can agree terms.

Similar competition?! LOL! what a joke....................So, where is this similar competition? Fury's balance is terrible, he moved around the ring, but off balance, footwork not so good either, his jab does not work so well, he's open for the right hand, if Vlad land his right hand on Fury, or his left hook, hook off the jab, etc., Fury will go to sleep.............Fury appears to be trying to get a biased referee, judges, etc., in the UK help Fury out. I think Vlad will demand fair judges and referee...................Vlad's skills are superior to Fury's, Fury has never fought anyone as good as Vlad, nor as big. Fury will find that Vlad is stronger as well......................very quick left hook, sneaky, Vlad fights tall fighters better than short ones. Wach was 6 feet 8 inches tall, rock chin.......................Fury does not have a rock chin..........................

OH,, he will ,,, The fight with kilt is gonna get him a BIG payday ,,, with Tyson i doubt winning the title has ever been on the agenda , if it has its certainly the worst preperation for a title fight in the history of boxing , fighting dwarfs in preperation for taking on a world champion giant ,, get my drift .

Its been about raising his profile , getting the world to take notice , and demanding its in england probably WEMBLEY .. iTS VERY SHORTLY GONNA GET TO THE STAGE WHERE kLIT WANTS THE FIGHT MORE THAN tYSON , because thats where the money is going to be .

So when it happens , Tyson gets paid well .

    Klit gets paid better .

    Tyson gets KTFO

Fury is also signicantly bigger than Wlad going by box rec.Fury is listed at 6'9 and Wlad 6'6.Fury has an 85 inch reach,Wlad 81 so the height difference is equal to that of Wlad v Haye.Fury also has a bigger reach advantage over Wlad than Wlad had in his respective fight with Haye.

Peter Fury claims Tyson fights better v taller opponents.I dont see why he would lie. He's sparred Wach and Helenius.Spars Hughie on a day to day basis. For the Hammer fight he has been sparring the big Polish heavy who comes in at 6'5 and Kevin Johnson who fights tall with a long reach.

I've pondered this and realised that there must be something in his ****nal that Fury wants to hide from wlad something that only works against other super heavies

If Fury was serious about facing Klitschko he would have fought Pulev for the mandatory slot. Instead, he and his team decided to take a cash out fight vs Haye that never materialised.

They have never made any attempt to fight someone who has the attributes to put Tyson in trouble. They repeatedly fight feather-fisted midgets.

I hope Wlad takes him on very soon and destroys him.

Wlad's quality of opponents is way higher than Fury's, that's not even a comparison. And as of looking very vulnerable, what about Pajkic and Cunningham fights? I think any person with eyes would say that Fury looked very vulnerable.

I tend to agree with Trumpy, apart from the fact that I DO hold Some hope out for Fury vs Wlad. I just think he could do things better, like getting a fight in a couple of months against a big man, though Id be amazed if he did. Think your points about him sparring Hughie are good. But I don't know whether I agree about him being much bigger than Wlad. He looked about the same difference against Hammer as did Wach. And Wlad absolutely dwarfed Haye. That coupled with the fact that he can box and punch was why David didn't commit so much.

Hopefully he stays busy. Wlad fight probably won't happen for at least another 6 months.

I don't think he's ever boxed a taller man. Wlad will be easily the biggest man he's faced. Thats why Im sure it would help to get a few competitive rounds against somebody of that size. Cant get anybody as good of course, unless its Wilder. WOOPS,he's got the other title.
