This will be one heck of a long road. He will most likely require 50 more bums in England till Wladimir eventually retires.
eeerrr no !! fury is a very fortunate man , he has come along at a time when heavyweight boxing is at an all time low and he is making the most of it , as a brit myself i wish him the best of luck but dont get thinking the guy is pushing for all time greatness , he has beat nobody that was any good and is likely to face a champion that has never beaten much and seen better days .
Fury has only faced B and lower grade opposition in his career. Until he's tested against serious opposition like Wlad, Povetkin, Wilder, Pulev or even Perez, Jennings, Takam etc he can't be evaluated as "great".
I believe Fury will be an ATG 1 day. In fact I believe They will have to create a new category above ATG just to accommodate Fury.
A 2,06m men, who already ducked every contender with a puls, like, Pulev, Povetkin, Ustinov, Price... will never be an all time greatest. Wlad will retire him in october :deal
I'm sorry just can't agree with any part of your post I will just wait for time to vindicate my statements
Fury will lose to Wlad, but I just hope he can keep it together afterwards as he has a real chance of winning gold, and possibly ruling the division once Wlad retires.
He'd make Ortiz die of exhaustion with his movement and elusiveness, then knock him out with a crisp right hook to the side of the jaw. round 8
His movement and reflexes are good but overrated. Not much power, not the best chin, decent skill for his size though. I think Wilder stops him.
Unfortunately for Fury, I think the division is better now when Klitschko reigned. I reckon he gets starched out in the next couple of years. Wlad had Vitali to deal with the other contenders . I doubt Hughie ever reaches that mantle.
