Lennox Lewis: "If I came out of retirement now and boxed Wladimir Klitschko I’m sure we’d make more money than Mayweather - Pacquiao because we’re heavyweights and command a lot more attention. People love heavyweights".

    Wow!!!

Lennox wants to talk about big fights now that he's long retired, but he didn't want to rematch Vitali in a big fight that just about everyone wanted to see.

    He was finished. :hi:

He already slipped badly and had no more desire to continue on.

I'm not convinced. The midget fights on jerry springer were hugely popular.

I rate Lewis very highly but the guy seems like an ego maniac

This is what comes to mind when he hears about this mega fight being made?

Unless he actually plans on coming out of retirement for a Klitchko fight he should shut the hell up

Lewis might be right but it sounds like he's crying for some attention.
Following his lead, I'll say there are bigger HW fights than that out there :

    Tyson v Wlad
    &
    Foreman v Wlad
    &
    Ali v Wlad

Lennox's sense of self importance is very high.

I don't know about that. Lewis making a comeback against Wlad would be a pretty big deal though.

He might be right. Heavyweight boxing will always be king, if they could convince the casuals that this would be the clear #1 vs #2 in the world it would be a mega fight even at their old age.

    He does this periodically.

Remember his claims that he would fight Vitali for 100 million? Remember his April Fools hoax about "unfinished business?"

I love Lennox and think he is better than either Klit brother...perhaps the greatest heavyweight ever. I also supported him in his decision to retire rather than fight Vitali again. But if he is not going to fight, then shut the **** up about it.
