It would be lucky to do more than 100 PPV units.

People have forgotten Lewis and nobody knows who Wlad is.

It's an interesting hypothetical scenario, if promoted right it could be huge but bigger than Mayweather/Pac would be hard to achieve.

Lewis is old and wouldn't be seen as a serious threat but he's a recognisable name and everyone loves an underdog and it could be promoted as Lewis trying to repeat what Foreman did and become the oldest champion ever at 50. I think it could catch the casual fans imagination.

But both are European fighters so the interest from the US market maybe limited which would greatly reduce potential earnings. While it would undoubtedly be huge I find it hard to see Lewis/Wlad generating as much as Mayweather/Pac.

The little guys proved time and time again they can get paid just as well if not more than heavyweights. The heavyweight crown was known as the most prestigious belt to have, probably still is with the middleweight a close 2nd, but little men have been commanding heavyweight money for decades now. Lewis would make big money, but no where near
    as much as Mayweather-Pacquiao.

Lewis is almost 50 now, and hasn't fought in over a decade. Not only would Wlad beat him almost to death now, nobody will want to see him fight anymore.

If he came back 2/3 years after retirement, against either Klitschko, it would've been HUGE! But still not as big as Floyd/Pac. :nono

I think it could have been bigger, if he'd rematched Vitali, but not anymore. Heavyweights do command a premium compared to other weight categories but this isn't prime Tyson fighting prime Lewis/Bowe/Holyfield or anything along those lines. Those fights would have made buckets of $$$.

Nobody would pay to see a fat old Lewis let alone Wlad.

Disagree with Lewis. Pac and Floyd are red hot right now. And it's a fascinating clash of styles and personalities. Both are at the top and this fight is for bragging rights. Lewis is not in the public eye at all, he's perceived as long finished and if he did fight Klitschko, there would be little expectation that he could win. There is zero demand to see Wlad vs. Lewis. I think this fight would be a financial flop. Plus Lewis is 50.

However, if Lewis decided to come back and face Vitali a few years ago, that rematch would have been HUGE.

The winner of that fight could well be considered 'the greatest of all time' so he's probably right. Pac and May are just two little fellas that are unknown outside of the States and the Philippines.
