    Good matchups all. I like Heiland so I hope he doesn't fight him, Johnson would make for a damn exciting match for as long as it lasts. But personally I'd prefer to see Monroe brutalized, he's a runner that I'd like to see GGG crush.

    Since Golovkin will turn 33 soon I wonder if everybody in the division is just waiting him out out till he's in his late 30s.

    He is WBC mandatory. This is a voluntary defense for GGG just as he is waiting for dumbass Cotto and his voluntary defense. Relax, GGG fights 4 times a year. He is also a career middleweight with very few options at SMW besides Chavez jr or possibly Froch, both of which aren't happening in the near future.

    Monroe deserves a beating. But Johnson deserves a chance to fight for the title.
    Heiland is a nice guy... But he has the wrong style.

    Who are they? Good middleweights - something you clearly wouldn't know about in your staggering ignorance. :good

    Each provides a different individual stylistic challenge that Golovkin has yet to face in the ring. Any of them would be his 3rd or 4th best opponent at least. All three are top 15 h2h @ 160lbs.

    Nothing to be ashamed of whichever it ends up being.

    Monroe Jr. wouldn't be a stay-busy fight. Coming directly after Murray it would make for Golovkin's best ever year of competition.
