As much as I'd like to see GGG destroy him, as I've previously mentioned, I'd love to see him fight Monroe who looked really good against Vera and it would give everyone a good indicator as to how GGG would fare against a Lara, Andrade or Ward, although he's not near on their level yet.

Very good list, but I think Heiland and Monroe do more for Golovkin than Johnson. I like Johnson because he stands and fights all the time. Just his loss to Stevenson looms over him.

Monroe just won the ESPN tournament and Heiland is coming off a huge upset over Macklin.

Don't remember if I've seen him fight but looking through his record, how the hell did he lose to Boone (Monroe that is)? I realize Boone is a journeyman who's given just about everyone hell, but to actually lose to him only 3-4 years ago? Don't know about that. He seems to be a good talent but whatever problems he may present stylistically, his lack of power-and it's quite a lack of it-will most likely mean he gets folded relatively soon. Might not be good for someone who's trying to have a long career. If he gets beaten badly, it might change him too much.

I would prefer Leimux or Lee.

    Quillen will keep ducking.

Also he could just move up to 168 and fight Carl Froch/Andre Ward/Chavez Jr. Not sure why he hasn't done that yet.

Lemieux has a fight for the vacate IBF belt with N'Jikam scheduled around the time of GGG's next fight.

Lee and Quillin are fighting shortly before. He will probably beat one of these 3 before going after the winner of one of those two bouts- provided they don't duck him.

I just think Johnson and Monroe would be better served by having at least another 2 name fights before stepping in with GGG. As in, a bit more development on their part will make for a better fight.

Maybe WBA will get off their duff finally and order GGG to defend against winner of Jacobs next fight. If Haymon allowed Jacobs to make the challenge that would be a good sign. Jacobs been having a nice comeback, deserves another shot at the top if he wins his next.

He's also not that far off reaching Hopkins record for title defenses. Hopkins had 20, GGG's on 13. Given his current activity he could do it by the end of 2016 :good

Well , its your belief that if he moves up he can just casually land a :
Chavez fight -> already declined to sign , also he is now LHW and still ducks GGG , which recently Tom said "SIGN THE CONTRACT" after daring him.
Froch fight -> looking for Chavez , GGG won the pole on his website and Froch said he isnt intersted , also looks like he wants Ward for WBA title, so this doesnt look promising. (GGG team said they want Froch).

Ward -> the enigma, he has Froch WBA challange now , lets see if he takes it , he says he wants 2-3 tune ups which is ~1 year , so in the next year Ward is unavailable for big fights.

now , tell me ,does moving up make sense ? you dont move up without a signed fight , in 160 GGG has leverage because he has belts and mandatories to force big fights against :
Cotto -> next on the line.
Lee ->said he will like a unification with GGG.
Alvarez -> he wants to move up to 160 , so he might be available later this year , early next year.

once you move up , you arent coming back down anytime soon , so its better to see your biggest options trough before shutting those doors.

Cotto and Martinez would be easy money fights that would solidify his legacy. He could fight either and I'd be happy. But I'd rather he fight Quillin, Lee, Eubank Jr, Saunders, Lemieux, Murata, Korobov, or Khytrov. We've got a lot of young blood coming up in the division which should make things exciting for the next couple of years.
