How is Thurman overrated? He deserves whatever accolades he's been getting. People are making too much of him not stopping very durable and survival minded Bundu, but Thurman has produced mostly good showings and KO's his opponent 90% of the time. He also has a dangerous and varied style that is a problem for any welter on earth, including Mayweather. He stops Broner in 7.
A dude completely terrorized by Maidana doesn't belong in the same ring with Thurman. He should fight decent opposition like Rios, Canelo, Lara, Brook or the like.
His performance vs. Bundu was actually when I've been most impressed with him. I feel he's overated by a vocal few on this site who thinks he'd easily beat any Welter out there.
Hate blinds you for the fact that Thurman is even more overrated. That said he is a natural WW and I would favor him at that weight. I smell an upset tomorrow though. I'm giving Ghost a shot.
Honestly even after that embarrassing beatdown by the hands by Maidana . Broner still does not fear Chino at all . He even said he wants to fight him 3 more times just to prove to Chino that it was a fluke win all along . I don't care for Broner (90% of people don't ) But I have to respect his massive heart . The man was hospitalized with a fractured cheekbone and yet he still want some more of Chino .
Can you imagine that little sh*tbag Broner doing this? Man, I love Keith Thurman. :rofl [YT]IzCMdN1QFfw[/YT]
People with massive hearts don't try to quit like Broner did in the 8th round, faking that a headbutt injured them. Could you imagine someone like Froch doing that?
I agree with you on that one . Broner did tried to milk the hell out of that headbutt to see if he can get a disqualication . He pretty much realized after that 2nd knockdown there was no way he can get back in the fight on the scorecards . But after he realized the ref wasn't buying it and Although he knew he was in a losing battle . He fought back all the way to the end and never mentally gave in . He won my respect that night , despite all that Im still rooting for Molina to take him out this Saturday .
:good Although I think you are overestimating Broner's mandibular strength if you think he sees the final bell.
