This is a great fight. Should be all action. Winner becomes a quality opponent and a desirable one for any of the top 10 at WW... Not sure how anyone could not like this match up. Who has the better top 5 wins between Berto and Algieri?
True, but he wasn't badly hurt by the knockdown. Berto no longer has the reflexes or the speed to avoid getting hit with flush shots. His skills have eroded over the past couple years due to long periods of inactivity in between his fights. In short, he's a shot fighter. Lopez looks like he still has a few more fights left in him.
I think both are on creaky floorboards to be honest. I'm really curious to see which ends up having them splinter beneath their feet.
I'd be happy to, if he gives a firm reason. You can't ban someone for just being a ****ty poster. :yep (though it often is tempting!)
It should be a great fight but I don't view it as a crossroads fight for both fighters, only for Berto. It seems that much more was invested in trying to make him a household name and thus far he's been a huge letdown. If Berto wins I'd like to see him in a Florida clash with Thurman I think it could be big in Orlando at the Amway Center
no I don't think so. Lopez's destiny at welterweight is to be a gatekeeperI didn't like how he jumped up to 154,in all honesty I feel he'd be very competitive at 140 he sure would give Broner or D.Garcia a run for their money.
Yeah, but he looks so much less sharp now than he used to; I think some of the wars took a toll on him.
The Ortiz that beat Berto and Lamont he was a damn good fighter, around that time he was sparring with Pacman and leaving Pacquiao impressed. Look it up Pacman says so himself.
