Its a bit early to say he wont be able to make that step up isnt it? A kid that got into boxing and was only so-so as an amatuer, was just a kid doing a sport. Hes an adult now and building in confidence with every fight he takes. Its a whole different ballgame now though. His circumstances have changed so much since his early start in boxing. Hes faster. Hes stronger. He has confidence. He has expert guidance, combined with a promotional company that is looking to go somewhere. Thats far different from being in a small gym in the local neighbourhood. His talent is being built up, and his gifts are being utilised. Hes not the kid that he used to be. Maybe having a solid goal is the biggest difference for him these days? I dont know. But he is better than he used to be. Dont write him off just yet :deal

New Zealand's local time is 15:15, Parker will be fighting Pettaway in a few hours?

Then he's off to Wlad's training camp :good

I think they fought at the same tournament or one of them should I say but never met. Parker had a reasonable amateur career.

I do not dislike hit at all, just cannot see him winning a major title. As for "stealing my girlfrien", he is welcome to her. He would be doing me a favor.

Jesus christ we have some sad posters on this site.
Parker actually had a pretty strong amateur background considering the country he comes from. Its not like you can get 200 amateur bouts under your belt when you come from a limited place like New Zealand.

Comparing someones amateur & pro career is naive.
If you do want to compare them, I suggest you go and review some of his fights back then & how he is performing today. I assure you, he has progressed leaps and bounds.

    #CST80 ?

Haha to be honest, hashtags bother me sometimes too, but more when I see people putting like 5 hashtags in a row.

Getting back on topic... Parker is going to have him some American BBQ tonight when he smokes Pettaway.

hahah :rofl:rofl we in the same boat then :goodhahahah

he won by KO last night. He is highly ranked and still learning the ropes, but i think his promoters are going to take him down the easiest route to get a title. He has a long way to go but we won't know how good-or bad- he is until he gets into a fight with a live opponent.:deal

Parker could knock Wilder out right this minute... Future champion??? He could be a titlist RIGHT NOW if Wilders people gave him the opportunity.
