Anybody think murray would have gone 11 with cotto, canelo or ward?

ggg hype is so overblown now. ggg is good. i just don't see what others see that makes him special...

martin murray has good fundamentals, but murray has no power and he's slow and easy to hit....very ordinary. Don't get me wrong, I had murray beating sergio. But sergio was already an old, overrated cripple by that time as cotto showed in sergio's next fight.

ggg's best opponents have been curtis stevens, kassim ouma and murray...think about that...and think about the fact that those guys all took him into the late rounds. you have to be a ggg fan to be impressed by that.

the one thing i really hate is the inflated commentary....the hbo team is talking as if ggg is actually waterboarding poor murray. i didn't see it being nearly that one-sided. i saw a competitive fight with murray winning some of the early rounds, ggg coming on in the mid-to-late rounds. hbo created the impression that murray was within an inch of losing his life...and i;m seeing murray land a combo, slip a ggg combo and move around the ring and i'm thinking "this is fcuked up because a lotta these weak-minded fans are gonna be thinking that ggg actually IS doing all this incredible damage instead of seeing what's actually happening in the ring." i know hbo has to sell their fighter, but it gets to the point where they start to sound desperate. Tryna make a guy look like king kong when he's not.

Murray may well beat Cotto and Canelo. We've not see either step to a healthy, legitimate middleweight.

Murray either beats or takes Cotto and Canelo to war

Ward beats him easily though, I hate Ward though, hope we never see him in the ring again

Yes, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Murray from the Golovkin fight survived 11 rounds against any of those guys.

You're a troll... Murray is too slow and light-hitting to give either canelo or cotto any trouble at all. canelo would blast through him. cotto would punish him and finish him off...both within 7 or 8 rounds the most.

He would've lasted the distance if he fought all three of them at the same time. :deal

Maybe your showing à little disrespect to Murray?

Not sure Cotto or Canelo easily beat Murray.

I typed up a whole response, outlining Murray's abilities, his record and meticulously proved that he would have beat both Cotto and Canelo on points.

But then...I erased it. It's just easier to call you stupid.

Of course he would have, all 3 of them, easily.

    Unless he, say, got cut.

This thread is silly but Murray is hardly a safe bet against either of those guys

Hes very durable but not exactly the most skilled guy

I could see him losing to both Cotto and Canelo pretty easily

Murray vs Canelo would go to the cards. Both guys have slightly more pop then malignaggi.
