Besides 8oz gloves, does Pac have ANY other advantage?

    Floyd:

    Size (height, weight, reach)
    USADA testing
Memo + Ariza (+Ariza's inside knowledge of Pac)
Ring age (less wars = less wear/tear)
Paying off any of Pac's potential sparring partners

    Pac:

    8oz gloves
    ???

Come fight night, Pac's gonna come in smaller, older, slower, less conditioned, and overall less ready compared to Floyd. Having Ariza in the Floyd camp alone is a huge disadvantage given he was there throughout Pac's glory years, he knows his in's and out's. Floyd 116-112.

pac did not try and cheat using tampered gloves. maidana voided his right for glove choice when he pulled that move

I thought glove size would of been one of Floyds main conditions, im really surprised hes allowed 8 ounce.

The fact that he's an actual "boxer" rather than being a real life boxing video game player.

Southpaw stance and output... I'll give him that. But speed is in Floyd's favor, and Pac hasn't shown any power since 2009. Floyd also has defense, accuracy, and ring generalship. This ain't lookin good for Pac.

He's fought pretty much all of his fights in 8 oz gloves. Why would he change it up if he didn't have to?

8 ounce gloves is standard protocol in a welterweight fight, so I wouldn't call this an advantage.

Floyd forced Ricky Hatton to wear 10 ounce gloves in their welterweight fight.

    :-(

Floyd tried to force Cotto to wear 8 ounce gloves in their junior middleweight fight.

    :-(

Floyd didn't allow Maidana to wear his usual gloves in both of their fights.

    :-(

    Floyd is a lil ho.

first of all, reach has never troubled pacquiao, ask Margareito, Cotto, DLH, Algieri how the reach advantage and size helped them, not only did they lose to Pac, they got annihilated.

secondly, Pac has many strengths that could trouble floyd:

    1. a very unique style and vey hard to prepare for. Robert Garcia has faced Pac and Mayweather twice each and he has repeatedly stated that Pacquiao is 'much' harder to prepare for than Floyd.
    2. speed. Pacquiao has arguably more speed than Mayweather, especially when throwing combinations. I think he's slightly faster...
    3. Power. More power than Mayweather
    4. stamina. He rarely gets tired and throws a lot of punches, for 12 rounds. Some of this is genetic, some people have more stamina than others, holding training constant
    5. Movement. Pacquiao moves in ways Mayweather will not be able to prepare for. His side to side, in/out, head movements are incredible... his footwork is second to none, even Mayweather's
    6. explosiveness. He is more explosive than Floyd

If you ****yze many of floyd's and Manny's fights, you will notice that Pacquiao has had a 'shock' factor on his opponents, much more so than Floyd. when pac faced DLH, Cotto, Maragerito, Algieri, Diaz, Barrera... they were all SCHOCKED immediately. His speed and ability to throw many punches non-stop catches opponents by surprise, even when they know he's fast. DLH was totally shocked, Diaz couldn't stop talking about how f fast Pac was; Rios said the same thing 'he's so f fast'... Algieri thought he had a game plan but that quickly changed when he felt Manny's speed/power. Even Bradley said he was a bit shocked by what Pac brings. Even JMM himself was SHOCKED... Pacquiao floored him 3 times in the 1st round of their first fight, JMM had to adjust... Barrera was totally shocked too.

when it comes to Floyd, i haven't seen any opponent be shocked by what he brings, he;s just tough to beat and very elusive. I can't wait to see Mayweather's reaction once Pac starts throwing and floyd feels the speed, power and intensity... i'm telling you guys, Pac shocks everyone he faces, especially in first few rounds.
