I would agree that 46 year old foreman struggled with contender Axel. I cant think of any 46 year olds who wouldn't struggle with a top ten HW. Which 46 year olds would have beaten him comfortably? name them. cheers take as long as you need. otherwise don't make lost points you know cant back up in future.
I agree with your first sentence, but I disagree that he lacks technical skill, i think he is deceptively skilful, despite being slow as a turtle. Fantastic ring smarts also, he has a lot to be proud of in his career.
which supposed 46 year old woudnt be a minor titlist in any era? take your time. support your point, mate. don't run away from it.
Very decent heavyweight indeed and overlooked because he hasn't managed to win a version of a hw belt, but he's better than quite a few who did. Wlad is a big roadblock.
Didn't I just do this thread.:yep Tony Thompson: When It Comes To Exposing Hypejobs Call Tony The Tiger He's GRRRRRReat http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=530215
Wladimir Klitschko said Thompson is the most awkward fighter he faced even moreso than Chris Byrd. Difficult to hit cleanly. If there was a time machine Thompson would expose most ATG. I don't think he could beat Lennox Lewis but I do think he would finish on his feet versus Lewis.
