He has champion level offensive skill already....No doubt! I'm a bit cautious though because of his defensive skills that need some work, but he's not terrible defensively either, but he is very offensive minded in his approach. Offensively he beats them all except for Wlad. Shannon briggs, and Jeremy Williams looked really impressive coming up in the 90's if you remember, but Briggs only briefly was a top 5 guy(when he won the WBO), and was mostly a fringe contender. Williams had fantastic offense, with fast hands, and two handed power, but was too small, and didn't have a Holyfield chin. Both of those guys looked scary against the right opponents though. I have a hunch Parker will be a bit better, but it's early.
I actually do agree, premature as it seems. The only question remaining is whether he can button up his defense as he rises in class, and how good his chin holds up as backup. Offensively he is fully equipped.
Time will tell but as right now I am On board. I actually like his ability more than Joshua. Let's see how his defense improves he is susceptible to straight right hands.
Parker's listed 76 inch reach will be a problem as he steps up.He's giving up almost a foot in reach to a guy like Wilder.
