Floyd doesnt throw nowhere near 100 punches a round, he says. Hes more, you know, scientific about it. He really plots a lot. And he sits around and he poses. And this guy [Pacquiao] is all over fading, moving. I just dont think [Mayweather] is going to be able to play that plotting, skill Floyd gotta fight the first couple of rounds. And there you have it.
Because Tyson understands if someone throws 80 punches a round vs someone's 30, even if the person throwing 30 is landing 50% and the person throwing 80 is landing at least 20 of those 80, then the person throwing 30 CANT WIN THE ROUND ON POINTS.
Not necessarily. Imagine if you're a judge, do you think you're going to be in a position to see every punch blocked, unless you have a 360 degree view, then it not likely, so being busy in the ring definitely counts some judges might even be watching the back of one of these fighters if the action is taking place directly in front of him or across the ring in front of him.
Yes, because it would mean Mayweather was even less effective ! If Mayweather can block so many punches he should be able to effectively counter many of them too - if he doesn't do that, then he deserves to lose. Hopefully it will be a much better fight than that, whether it's competitive or not.
I wouldn't read much into it What Tyson's record in picking fights? Probably not that good That being said, his rationale for this pick is reasonable
Sure Pac may win the first couple even 4-5 rounds on activity and effectiveness but there's no way in heck this fight goes to him. He fights with one arm predominantly and there's simply no-way to out-fox Mayweather and land the more meaning ful shots on the night over the majority of the rounds. No way. Mayweather may have dipped a bit recently but there's no way Pac bests him on the night. Too simple, no plan B, Floyd makes this look easy as per.
