- Replace all current commentators. They were all AWFUL. SRL was the best one there and he was pure dog ****, even though I am a big fan of his. -Get more competitive fights. -Get rid of the cheesy ring entrances. They were like something out of WWE. Felt dumb. That stage they were on was so stupid. -Get rid of the stupid camera angle/360 spin. That was so dumb, it did NOTHING to improve the experience. - Also the intros were really cheesy. Wtf was that with all the fighters wearing suits in the tale of the tape LMAO? -Change the Rope color to Red,Blue, white as it always is. (Notice the ropes were BLACK, possibly a subliminal message from Al Haymon) -Too much time in between fights. -Get rid of Al Haymon Al Haymon is destroying boxing. I am not going to tell any of my friends about PBC because it was **** and I'm honestly embarassed that I watched it. I feel like I was victimized. Haymon is the biggest stain on boxing since the begining of time. I would rather a fighter sign with Arum, GBP, or Don King for FFS. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the fights are fixed now. Wilder/Stiverne was VERY shady. Haymon should be investigated ASAP.
Can you do anything besides respond with a six letter acronym? Perhaps at least point out the part you disagree with? Maybe you disagreed with all of it? Do you find it in good taste that Al Haymon would give a man who plead guilty of ***ual assualt a job that probably pays six figures? Marv Albert plead guilty of ***ual assault. He should not be on the program.
1. The ring entrances were pure ****, let the fighters walk out with their team and to their own music. 2. The commentators were horrible SRL and especially Laila Ali. Positives the fight with Thurman and Guerrero was pretty good, Broner fight was horrible, but you get that with HBO and Showtime sometimes.
Obviously its a first broadcast, I thought they did good, its not their fault the first fight was a stinker, both those guys usually are in good fights
Lol you are obviously not very smart about business. Haymon isn't going to do stuff like that because he doesn't want everyone to realize he controls all of boxing. He doesn't want to draw attention to himself. Just wants to draw in money. I would rather him show himself off and sit in the crowd with a big afro ala Don King so everyone knew who was responsible for all the fixes and bad decisions.
I am happy to see boxing on regular TV and we got one good fight and one bad fight. Bad fights happen but the main event covered well. I guess we can complain about the rope color though
Agree with everything except except the haymon part. I see you go on to complaint but you don't express what he did wrong? On paper, fights looked good. The only disappointment was Molina being gun shy. Other then the cheesy entrences it was a good show. Again, what did haymon do wrong?
1. The commentators need to change. SRL was OK but I didn't feel like he had a good vibe with the other commentator. They seemed afraid of contadicting each other. Bring in someone proven like ex commentators from showtime or hbo. Is Tarver available? 2. Ring entrances were plain. The fighters should choose their own. 3. Need to bring back the ring girls and give them air time. 4. Instead of a personal bio, their in the ring accomplishments should be the intro. 5. The ring was too big. If you want action, you need a smaller ring not a track.
This Completely agree, but then again its the first showing so hopefully it only gets better. The boxers looked so uncomfortable walking to the ring by them self's.
Al Haymon is trying to create a separate boxing circuit. This is phase one of his plan. It seems like a good thing for boxing, but he is just trying to make it like the UFC in terms of one man controlling it all. Al Haymon will be PBC's Dana white.
Um, boxers have the choice of signing up with haymom. No one is obligated. Its no different then top rank's refusal to work with GB and vise versa. Also gb DOES work with haymon. Its top rank and haymon who don't work together.
When you see someone suggesting that black ring ropes represents some sort of 'subliminal message', you already know what driving their opinion of Haymon.
