Austin Trout should be able to dictate terms to Miguel Cotto if they had a rematch. :think

The only explanation Ward's 5 or so fans tend to give is 'Ward won the first fight', ignoring that boxing is a business and Froch has vastly superior drawing power- much like Cotto has compared to Trout.

 

Doesn't matter who people think should be able to dictate what.

 

Money talks and in that regard Froch is the A side and Ward is the B side.

I don't think either guy should get full control of the negotiations though I'm ok with an east coast us or uk fight not interested in Oakland...maybe the staples center would suffice

 

But Froch can pull 80,000 fans to an arena and do massive box office numbers. Ward can't even do 5,000 in California and does terrible TV ratings.

If two singers perform at a concert and 80,000 pay to see one, and 5,000 pay to see another- it's only right that the one who sells the tickets get the lion's share.

 

like I said Im cool with it going to the uk but would rather probably more so for my own selfish reasons to have it on the east coast like fight one, mostly so I can see it

But I think the purse should be close considering Ward is still Ring champ and did win the first fight, maybe compensate Froch another way to level it out like he gets the ring size or the ref or judges

 

Ward has been stripped of the Ring title.

Matchroom are already pretty confident of winning the purse bid.

Anyway, I believe this is just a ploy by the WBA to get the title off Ward because they aren't getting any sanctioning fees while he's inactive. They know Hearn will win the purse bid, demand Ward come to the UK and Ward won't have anyone dictate terms and vacate instead.

refusing PED test apart from his own handpicked commission, fake injuries? , diva demands, outprices himself, only fights in USA even if ticket sales show the fight should take place overseas, cheats and bends the rules anything to win and avoid getting tagged clean pfff dont get me started on this guy but yea he is quick and has good reflexes but lets see how quick he is in nottingham

 

As you can see im backing froch..even my mind tells me he will win unlike most fans who claims their mind says ward but heart is on froch

This is of course if the fight takes place anywhere but the US where its practically impossible to beat ward

 

Ward is so much more skilled than Froch, he shouldn't have a problem going into Nottingham, and giving Froch a whooping. If Ward is 100%, Froch won't win any rounds. Give Froch the lion's share. After Ward destroys Froch, it would build up his brand, notoriety, and money earning capacity.

 

Cotto is a WAY bigger name than Froch, and Ward is a way bigger name than Trout, so terrible comparison. Froch should be the A side though due to Ward's inactivity.

 

Ward's inactivity has nothing to do with his drawing power. Do you think when Mayweather came back from an 18 month lay-off to fight Ortiz, Mayweather should've been the B-side due to inactivity.

Fact of the matter is Froch is a ticket seller, much like Cotto, people pay to see his fights as proved by his last fight.

Ward, much like, Trout is not a ticket seller as proven in his last fight where he couldn't even half sell out his back garden and the abysmal numbers it did on HBO.
