I'm not deflecting nothing you fool, Lee was getting beat by Craig, Craig simply gassed because he claims he was being neglected in the wild card gym
I'm not saying Lee isn't excellent yes he is but I think there's a few out there who'd fancy the job

I've always been puzzled about McEwan. Seems to have gone a little awry since his loss to Andy Lee a fight I remember him winning quite comfortably.

He was winning quite comfortably. If he'd just been a bit fitter he would have won comfortably. But then, that's the whole point isn't it....discipline hard work and dedication....if only .....

I don't think Quillen has the style to beat Lee but I agree he is a dangerous puncher with underrated power.
Quillin is not an inside puncher and relies on counter punching mainly. He will not be used to fighting someone with superior reach and an outside skill set. Lee on the other hand needs to go back to the jab for this one and almost forget about the right hook. Booth would be wise to use surprise tactics here.

Be great to see Andy Lee take out KC. One of the most embarrassing 'champions' that we've had to endure in recent years.

Is it not Craigs job to get fit Billy, surely the coaches can't take all the blame

Lee and Quillin both fought Craig McKewan in 2011. In terms of gauging their respective performances against the same man in the same year - Did they both face the "same" Craig MeKewan? Was he equally prepared (or equally badly prepared!) for both opponents?

In terms of using Craig as a yardstick, it appears Quillin did a lot better against him than Andy. Any ideas?

craig was training with me until seven weeks before the McQuillan fight I advised him not to take the fight he wanted to for financial reasons, he never got trained by a pro coach on the lead up to it, went over with an ex pro Gary Young who'd never worked a corner before and a family memeber, hardly ideal perpetration for such a big fight.
So in the big picture he got what he deserved nothing!
What happened with the Dave Coldwell thing being his new manager?
