Can Luke Campbell dominate at LWW/WW?

He's probably big enough. He has huge shoulders. Just not sure he has to core strength and power yet.

 

not convinced he's even going to dominate at LW. even after he beats coyle he's still nowhere near winning a title at his current weight.

he's looked big partially because his opponents have been last minute replacements or pumped up featherweights.

Have to disagree with all the above , there's really no arguing that he's massive for a LW, seriously look at him In comparison to all the other LW's on the scene - mass wise , he can add a good bit on to his frame , and can move up to LWW no danger.

Provided he takes the transition slow & does it right he can go through the weight.

As for not dominating at LW , I would honestly put him in with any LW in Britain tomoro, I'd only be worried about Mitchell - Luke's shot selection & accuracy would see him through the rest.

 

I don't know about 140 or 147 but he can damn sure dominate Coyle if & when that comes off.

 

He looks like a naturally skinny type to me. I don't think packing on slabs of muscle and fighting bigger guys would work out well for him. 140 should be okay but I'm not sure about 147.

 

I think he has potential.


I think if he gets some step up fights we can gauge if he will be able to dominate a division let alone two.


I think he's got all the time to improve but he doesn't stand out to me as an Amir Khan type level of talent at this stage of his career.

 

I don't think he ever wins a world title, I'm just not sold for some reason.

Everyone is raving about that win last night but imo that guy looked pretty poor.

 

If he was American he would raved about. Because he is one of us we rubbish hin.

For some reason Im not either. He just seems (to me , and at this stage!) to lack a bit of "Wow"-Factor.
Dont get me wrong he is solid all round as you would expect, just hat he leaves me wanting to see a bit more....:think
