Thompson just dereailed solis career for good ....does david price have a chance against an aged tony thompson ????? And had enough tune ups w/ new promoters and trainers under sauerland ????? David price is calling out tyson fury ...fury doesnt need him ...how about price/thompson 3?? Who wins ?
I don't think anyone wants to watch Price knocked down a third time. You can lurk by any Liverpool club on a random night if you want to see someone knocked out, you don't need to pay for that sight. Therefore such fight is not feasible business-wise, either of the fighters career-wise, or any other-wise one can come up with.
Tony Thompson, again. Price is always the same clueless gym rat that doesn't seem to understand why he's even in the ring, and his hands are inside those strange cuscion gloves.
I think he has less of a chance now as he did in the 2nd encounter in wich he even came close of blowing Thompson out. He just has no confidence left, and would be too defensive to use his best assets wich will lead to almost certain doom.
This question is about as sensible as asking if Klitschko would beat Thompson a 3rd time by KO. atsch
I think that's overstated, he got equilibrium punched in the first fight but finished on his feet in the rematch but gassed. Thompson was down twice in the rematch (only one k/d called). Wlad not much of a chin either but when Pulev stepped to him, he beat the eff out of him.
Sauerland handles Price now. They're smart and would never send him in against Thompson again. It would be career ending for David.
