And from a fans perspective this benefits us how? :huh

Instead of Canelo, we now will have the pleasure of seeing him up against the likes of the great K9 Bundrage.

It doesn't benefit us much at all. If you want to talk from a fans perspective, that's different, I believe we were talking from the fighter's perspective. What WE want them to do vs what we would do in their shoes are two completely different things. You don't have to agree with them, just understand.

That's my point. The fans should not be concerned with what benefits a fighter. They pay people to worry about that stuff for them. I watch the sport to be entertained by the best fighting the best available opposition. I can care less about the business side of it or how much fighter A is making to fight fighter B rather than fighting his biggest threat.

This has to be the only sport where fans root for athletes business decisions more so than they do facing the best possible opposition. I don't get it. :huh

I don't think Roc is gonna let him take that type of fight.

It's gonna have to be against a marquee name, even if at a lower weight class or a CW.

I could see them spending that type of money on GGG, Canelo, or Floyd and Pac. Something worthy and demanding of PPV.:think

This is why I say that Roc Nation overpaid Cotto. There aren't too many names out there that would give Roc a return on their investment.

I don't root for their business decisions. Someone was questioning their motive behind this so I gave my opinion on the motive. No telling who he'll fight.
