no, a cowardzaghe is not a coward, unles you are insinuating it. if you are, good luck to you in doing so, but you are alone in this.

age 43 yup, joe thought he was shot. he thought wrong.

and inbetween two losses one side, and a loss and a DQ the other.

true...yet where have I said he wasn't post prime?

no I don't. where do I give him any undue credit for the win?

your judgement of who is a forum moron being based on how many wrong points are made in a post?
well, since you are wrong on every point above, you appear to be talking about yourself.
please don't take it out on me that you are so badly wrong.

No your implying he's a coward when you put coward in his name ! By implying that Bhop also wasn't a good win you diminish everything he did around that time but your too damn simple minded to see it. The Kovalev-Bhop win is seen as a good win by many as its Kovalevs best win and he is rated highly and that win was 7 years after Calzaghe. His loss to Chad Dawson also came 4 years later! Yes most people consider you a weak troll get used to it. Go ahead Internet warrior dazzle us with your plethora of boxing knowledge...

Who do you guys think is the more savage puncher? GGG or Kovalev? :think

Wonder what would happen if they met at a 170 pound catch weight? I don't think that would be out of the question for either guy.

At 170 GGG would win, because Kovalev would be severely drained. Duva and Jackson have both ruled out any fights under 175, saying theres no way Kovalev could be 100% under 175. Hope it doesnt happen, beating drained fighters is BS and it would be a BS win that looked a lot better on paper than it is in reality.

At 175 it would depend on if GGG could get inside, and stay there. At range, Kovalev has more firepower and is a pretty excellent boxer himself. Golovkin would have to get inside his reach and work his body. Still, I favor Kovalev in that match at this stage of their careers. He has enough power to keep Golovkin honest, and enough footwork and accuracy to make it difficult to get and stay in close.

No, Golovkin has a better resume. Golovkin has 13 title defenses to Kovalev's 4. Golovkin has been a champion for 4 1/2 years to Kovalev's 1 1/2. Their level of opposition hasn't been great, but Kovalev's victories over Cleverly and shot ancient Hopkins doesn't count for more than Geale, Murray, Stevens, and Macklin.

However, after Kovalev beats Pascal they will be rather close in terms of overall opposition and signature victories.

Kovalev does get his share of hype. After all, he's Ring Magazine's boxer of the year.
