This is no cakewalk for either fighter but I do believe Mayweather will adjust to Manny and win later rounds. The question is, how long will it take him? If Pac comes out with some dumb gameplan like Canelo did, his chances aren't good. It took Mayweather about 5 rounds to figure out a completely basic Maidana (and Hatton too realistically), so I really do see this as a 50/50 fight. As I mentioned though, if Pac can't win 4 of the first 5 rounds, I think his chances plummet each round after. If Pac can convincingly win 4 or 5 of the first rounds, we will see an epic finish to this fight IMO. And if everyone is being honest with themselves, Floyd has a better chance of knocking out Pac than Pac does him.
Yup. I agree. I agree with everything but the KO part. Pacquiao is known as an KO artist [or was]. Regardless of his power now, he still has dangerous power and has more experience fighting toe-to-toe than Mayweather does. I don't see Mayweather being able to KO Pacquiao anymore than I see Pacquiao being able to win on a UD through pot shotting and boxing.
He never really figured out these guys at all, he just whined and whined at the referee to create space for him and they duly obliged (Cortez before Weeks who took a few rounds, Bayless continued in same vein).
His only chance of winning the early rds is dropping Floyd thru the ropes. Bayless will be picking Floyd up off the canvas like like a janitor picking up toilet paper and paper towels off the bathroom floor. Each time Pac will rush in to finish him, Floyd will barely grab hold, then crumble, and Byaless will call it another slip, and lift floyd up, giving him time to recover more.
I'm pretty sure Pac will win the early rounds and FMJ will adjust and start winning rounds himself and if Pac doesn't adjust again then he'll lose to about 8-4 or 7-5. If FMJ won't be able to counter and time Pac properly, Pac will UD him easy.
