How Jack Dempsey could do in the current boxing? Do you think he could beat most of the top 20 HW's even his 188 lbs frame?

One thing is sure: He was much better conditioned and explosive than 99% of the HW's

Dempsey and Marciano would make great Cruiserweights today. Talk about seeing some savage KO's :yikes

No, he wouldn't. I respect the old timers but i'm realistic.
Huck is around 220lb come fight time and a rough, tough,
dirty, and really strong bruiser. Dempsey didn't have the
skill set to outsmart Huck, nor would he be able to bully
the serb either. Huck isn't some fat factory worker or
clumsy hillbilly, Dempsey would be the one mauled IB.

I'm not talking about Dempsey knocking about modern heavyweights. I'm talking about Marco Huck, a cruiser, and not even a top 15 all-time cruiser. Granted, he did give Povetkin hell in his jaunt up to HW, but he's still too crude and hittable to withstand Dempsey's furious assault. Nobody has ever thrown such firepower at Huck nor come at him with such a relentless style. He'd be choking down leather at just as high a clip as did any of Dempsey's victims.

I would rate Huck's chances against Dempsey as almost non existent.

There weren't cruisers back then IB, just alot of heavy's
the size of todays cruisers. Also, Huck hasn't had a Dempsey
style come after him, but Dempsey never had a Huck like the
one that came after Povetkin come at him either. Huck is too
big, too strong and too relentless for Dempsey to overpower.
You're confusing the farm hands that dempsey clubbed with
a modern trained bigger version that mimics his own stlye.
Huck would just be a bigger version of Dempsey.

It is the worst style match up imaginable for Huck - literally the worst fighter I could thin of in his weight range, ever, all time.

That's funny, as I was thinking the same about Dempsey.
He'd be fighting a bigger version of himself.

    Right?!??!?!?!

We're talking major differences in speed, volume, ferocity.. straight vs. clubbing blows... crouch swarming vs. robotic standup Wegner style...
