    Chechens are hated by far right Russian nationalists, many normal Russians also hate them as a whole because of the Chechen terrorist groups (who represent only a portion of the whole population)

    I think they're not too well liked by most Russians left or right. Taking schools captive can do that to a population.

    true, but they are particularly hated by the far right nationalists, i once read that some of them even proposed building a wall on the Russian border with Chechenya :nut

    At least they have a slight reason for that, a lot of Chechens being Muslim Fundamentalist terrorists and all, however I'm still not quite sure what most Americans feel they have to fear from Mexicans,:huh since a lot of idiots here want to build a wall on the Mexican border as well.:-(
