Brook has power and Khan can't take a punch. Look at the Garcia fight. Won every round but got sparked out. Hasn't fought a single puncher since with good reason.
I haven't got a clue who would win.Would love it to happen and would be rooting for Kell, the Yorkie. But it may well be that Amir has the speed and skills to win.....that's why it's a great fight. Both these lads still near their peak so potential to be much better than Floyd and Manny who are on the wane I think!
Speed and work rate should enable him to land more punches and win more rounds. Khan's speed could shut down Brook's offence. We are yet to see how Brook would react to getting hit with a lot of fast combinations. We are yet to see if Brook is able to time and counter someone as fast as Khan who hitting him with fast jabs and combinations and clinching when needed.
If Khan thought he would beat Brook he would take the fight at Wembley stadium, pocket a career-high purse and win the IBF title. Don't think he fancies it, though.
I can only assume you didn't watch the Alexander fight, even with limited knowledge you can glean more than one reason from that performance alone.
So when Khan turned down the Alexander fight for the WW IBF title, do you honestly think he thought he wouldn't beat Alexander? Its the same situation here, he was in contention for both may or pac before they announced to fight each other. Now the turn over time between brooks fight and Khans fight date is too little for a fight of this magnitude, even Hearn acknowledges this and has shown his frustration. IF Brook gets beat, or gets a bad injury/cut then the Khan fight won't happen meaning Khan will not be able to get a big fight before Ramadan and essentially really have fought 1 opponent this year. Khans already said he would fight Brook next year, let them both build it up even more, if Kells the real deal he will stay champion and the fight will happen in 2016.
Yeah triangle theories don't work in boxing, there are so many examples to back this. Also Porter v Alexander wasn't that convincing either, Khan v Alexander was convincing though.
