Floyd hasn't worked with GBP since they parted ways with Schaefer Mayweather-Maidana II (and maybe even I (can't remember)) was promoted solely by Mayweather Promotions
Oscar ditched Schaefer who in turn was the reason Mayweather hooked up with them in a co-promotional fashion. Once Schaefer left, so did a lot of GBP fighters, to Al Haymon.
Golden boy getting short handed in the biggest fight that can be made. You know Oscar has to be bitter as heck.
It's quite sad because, like him or loathe him, Oscar was INSTRUMENTAL in Floyd's success, financially and in regards to exposure and an increased celebrity profile.
And he was INSTRUMENTAL in causing GBP to get left out in the cold while the biggest money-making fight in history is taking place. You wanna start pointing fingers, the first place you should look is at the golden boy himself.

For years GBP promote all of Floyd's fights. Mayweather promotions didn't even have a license promote fights. It was more a vehicle for floyd to get paid through.
And you think they did that out of respect or loyalty? F0ck no! They took their cut... a large cut. This is business. GBP has no contractual affiliation with anyone involved. Neither does Don King, Gary Shaw, name your promoter. None of them are getting any Thank You cut of the pie.
