sure a couple of blast out will do him no harm... and then after that he can start chasing the big guns:good
Thats IF the do improve the opposition. Hopefully they will do shortly. All too often we see boxers not being competitively matched, hence their development not being progressed. Its very easy to get into a rut fighting poor opposition - not so easy to get out of it. Look at Martin Murray, (to some extent) and definitely Scott Quigg, LSC etc ...then when the sudden BIG step up comes - the guy cannae cope. Spike is fairly experienced, fairly seasoned and quite mentally and physically tough. Plus he is no spring chicken. He needs to get a move on. Hopefully he will soon. :thumbsup
Been watching a couple of interviews with KC lately. He hardly mentions Andy Lee at all. Waffles on about this and that...never discusses the guy he is facing in a title fight soon. Does anybody else think this is bizarre? I do. Wonder If he is taking Andy Lee a bit lightly? Is Kid Undercard underestimating Andy?
If you like Andy you better hope he doesn't ko Quillin Coz if he does.....guess who's next for him??? And I dont mean BJS! Yes indeed....HIM!
Not live. Those shows DiBella puts on in NYC usually get aired on the MSG Network or SNY (both small-time regional deals) on like a week's tape delay.
First-time entrants to the Irish market, the Malta Boxing Commission, host a 'show' in Belfast tomorrow. It looks like the worst bill ever put together in this country, north or south. And they have the gall to call Tolan v Townley an 'Irish Professional Middleweight Title' fight. I reached out to the BUI but heard nothing back. Tommy Tolan SC Phillip Townley 10x3 Eamonn Magee Jnr SC Dinars Skripkins 4x3 Matthew Fitzsimmons SC Aleksandrs Birkenbergs 4x3
