Kovalev often spars with guys who are heavyweights.

On the other hand, Prince Naseem Hamed used to spar in the gym with cruiserweight champ Johnny Nelson. If a featherweight was dropping Kovalev, I'd be worried.

If a heavyweight is dropping him, maybe he should work with lighter guys.

Or, maybe it never happened.

There's always that.

 

This should match up favorably for Kovalev. Pascal is not hard to find and comes right at you, which plays into Kovalev's power.

However, I do agree that Kovalev's chin is a liability.

Still, Pascal has no more than a puncher's chance.

 

is pasc down to what we saw against bute ? is that pasc last performance , if so that was a pathetic performance. and I mean pathetic. the ONE time bute was able to let his hands go pasc looked lost and pasc was unable to throw.

those 2 in that ring that night was the worst combined performance I have ever seen

 

Kovalev is the complete package, unfortunately he isn't the right colour for some people to get on board with.

 

That really was a terrible fight, possibly the worst one I ever saw which I was mildly hyping...

 

If Kovalev get spark early, which he could, it might get troublesome for him. Plus he is not the fatest guy of the two.

There are rumors that GGG dropped Kovalev in sparring and quite frankly *****ed him around the ring.

We've heard sparring rumors that were true, but most of the time they're bs. However Kovalev has been dropped hard before, and his balance is not that great, so I wouldnt be shocked if Pascal managed to land on him and knock him out.

However Kovalev is a sound boxer, and hits like a mule, and if Pascal couldn't put China chin abuts away, idk if he can put Kovalev away, so I'm going Kovalev by late stoppage.
