Povetkin takes too long to get out of the gates and by the time he does he gets stopped.

Povetkin had a very impressive first 16 or so fights. Victories over a still relevant Byrd, a very good Chambers and serviceable versions of Donald and Sykes were better than any other heavy contender at the time. Given enough time, Atlas fixed that progress but only tired squealers with an agenda discount Povetkin's abilities when properly trained and coached..

Prime Foreman probably wins, Pov might be able to get the job done if Foreman had an off night though... But I definitely pick Povetkin over 90s Foreman, easily.

    Dude, its Dino.

For years he was claiming Povetkin was a feared uncrowned Champion who was going to destroy Wlad.

But given he was wrong, he's completely back tracked on him and jumped in Fury's lap.

A come forward punchbag vs one of the more powerful ATG punchers?

    That's a toughie.

It must be tough on Dino, who by the way said Wlad would not fight Pulev! Wlad haws not lost in ten years. I do want to see Wlad vs Fury. Fury, unlike Haye will not withdraw from the fight. He'll get Knocked out.

    Don't listen to Mongoose.

Im a long time fan of Povetkin and have the utmost respect for how he bounced back.

I bigged up him to beat Wlad because i knew his counter hooks, angles and inside game was more than enough to beat him.
Pitty he got cheated out of that victory.

When you have to cheat and foul another guy like there is no tomorrow to win, it means the other guy is better than you. Thats just basic logic.

Wladimir did hurt Povetkin and knock him down early in their fight. Prime George would very probably finish Alexander early, inside four or five rounds.

Does anyone here believe that guy who struggled vs Takam (the fight was even on cards in his hometown after 8th rd), and was hurt and beaten (ok, not in best shape) by cruiserweight Huck, has a chance against Foreman that KO'd Norton and Frazier in 2 rds?

Foreman has much better chin than any of Povetkin's opponents, more strength than anyone including Wlad, and hits harder than Huck and Takam combined.

Marco Huck a guy who likes to brawl , shattered Povetkin several times.

Foreman likes to brawl also with the difference that he is the
    biggest Puncher in Boxing History.

    Foreman by murder

Povetkin is the second best at the moment, and a solid heavyweight in any era.

That said, his style doesn't augur well for a bout with Foreman.

I 'm guessing he would last two to six rounds.
